I have swum with Reef Sharks and Grey Nurses, that was cool... When I was younger I used
to be scared snorkelling over the Barrier Reef for fear of seeing one. Now if I ever get the
chance I try and find one !! lol....

I've forgotten that one Nick...remember seeing pics of it as a kid though. The pictures and stories of sharks and dinosaurs were most worn pages in our family's animal library...we had a set of 10 huge books that had all the animal species...well, maybe not all separate insects, some of them as a group

The only hammerheads I've seen diving were not much bigger than me, so this is indeed a
freak of nature. Hammerheads are docile

I remember the first time I took surfing lessons down at Cronulla, the coastguards sent off the sirens for everyone to get out of the water because at least 3 hammerheads were doing the rounds somewhere. Some of the diehard surfers couldn't give a toss and so kept hitting the waves...

In the deep southern waters off South Australia and Victoria, man....... There's some
scary big ! White Pointers there.. Im sure some of the operators know where the really
nasty ones are too, and I must admit I would be a little nervous in those parts........
I've seen pics of those cages where they have managed to bite through.
I think they have always managed to get the cage up in time, but........
Is it just a matter of time ???

That's a fact Jack!!! When I took my rescue diver certification, I did my blind night navigation in the dead of winter and it was colder than a witches teet!!! I'm guilty as charged cos I pissed like a racehorse in that wetsuit and it saved me from inevitably getting hypothermia. Plus, the wetsuit was a rental.
