I dont really "BLAME" the lawyers they want money too.
The idea of a whore is a paid sex servant who hopefully enjoys her end of the dealio.
Repeat customers and years of steady money travel and perhaps love without confinement.
But as of recent the "Hos" have broken the contract that lasted a 5000 years. The oldest proffession is becoming just more like fukk the neighbor lady and hope she doesn't tell hubby .
But lawyers can broker a court deal that requires the "Dude" to pay millions for paying thousands for a piece of ass.
The TV circuit of Springers and Barbara Walters could lead to even more money than they can make by simply lying flat on thier back .
Funny Sh!t.
As for Gibson, well, far as he goes my interest (much the same with all other celebrities in the end) starts and ends with his movies. If they're good, I'll watch them. If not, I won't. Him being a racist or a dickhead to the soon-to-be ex-wife of his bastrd child or whatever the particulars are are secondary.
It's kind of like that scene in Scarface, when Tony says "people need someone like [him] around so people can point their fingers and say, 'look at the bad guy'...what da' make you, good?"Scramby eggs and bacon.Comment

He warns, "I am going to come and burn the f**king house down... but you will blow me first."

With another one of these tapes surfacing I have to ask the question.. What about his privacy? Seems like this broad is setting him up (taping-wise) for these rants and then releasing them to the pubic. Taping someone without their knowledge is illegal in the US and I imagine elsewhere also. He's a dumbass for sure to be sucked in never mind what it looks like, but how many here have fought with a girlfriend/wife and said the worst shit they could in the heat of the fight to get the most reaction they could?? I'm sure many have...And what would they have said knowing it was going to be public fodder? I'm not defending either, but for all the world it looks like this broad set him right up taping conversations that he thought were private....Chainsaw MuthuafuckaComment

Despicable as his words are - and I am not condoning them - we have to remember the context. Arguments with loved ones and people we perceive to have betrayed us stimulate real bile, and often things are said that a person does not really mean (in order to hurt) and would not say in a more rational mood.
I imagine if the arguments someone had with their wife before a divorce were aired down the line, they'd be embarrassed at what they'd said...The Power Of The Riff Compels MeComment

It is not illegal to tape someone without their knowledge in the US.
Twelve states require, under most circumstances, the consent of all parties to a conversation. Those jurisdictions are California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Washington. Be aware that you will sometimes hear these referred to inaccurately as “two-party consent” laws. If there are more than two people involved in the conversation, all must consent to the taping.
The other 38 states only require the consent of one person of the two to tape a phone conversation. It is against Federal law and most states to record a conversation which you are not involved in, and it is also against Federal law to publicly release recordings made illegally.Comment

That is true, but the copyright of a recording belongs to the person being recorded.
Not that it makes it any better."I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind. - Some come from ahead and some come from behind. - But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see. - Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!" ~ Dr. SeusssigpicComment
