I've heard Zeppelin good and bad in boots from the '70's.
Page broke a finger sometime during the '75 tour so I'm not suprised some of the concerts had limited guitar ability.
The fact that he was kind of a coke/herion junkie starting in '75 and continuing onto the '80 Tour over Europe made for some erratic performances as well, both good spots and awful.
In fact, I don't think Jimmy really beat the hard drugs until about '84 or so; and Live Aid was a good try but mostly lousy.There was a definite improvement with The Firm concerts of '85 and '86.
