Bingo! Great damn movie. Funny thing is that I've always loved this movie and somehow I'd never bought it on DVD. Finally picked it up a couple of months ago. The picture quality ain't all that great in parts but it's a killer movie. I refuse to watch any of the sequels. Except for End Game, which wasn't really a sequel but was a pretty good Highlander flick.

I've seen a couple of the sequels. Some "meh", some... well, Highlander 2 was nuclear waste.

Check out "Highlander: The Search for Vengeance". It's anime, but worth watching.

I haven't seen any of them. I love the TV series though. It's up on Hulu if anybody wants to check it out. I saw about 5 minutes of the last Highlander movie, the one made for the SciFi channel - 5 minutes was enough. I've read reviews of the anime and they were all good. I need to check it out.

There's been talk that a reboot movie is in the works. I'd love to see that.

I think Joel McHale would be perfect. He is a funny dude who definitely has the deadpan delivery to suit the role.

Not to mention he already works with Chevy Chase, so that might help him do justice to the character.

Yep, It's The Chase. Dunno if it was a "hit" movie or not, but I liked it.

Especially liked Henry Rollins portrayal of the cop and Anthony & Flea from the Chili Peppers as rednecks in the monster truck Blazer

Just catching up on this thread. Really love the car flicks. Vanishing Point, what a classic. Someone mentioned the car that hit the bulldozers wasn't a Challenger. It was a 69 Camaro. In the remake it looked like a Challenger hitting the bulldozers but it had cragars on it instead of the stock wheels the car in the rest of the movie had.
