I don't know about the new Porsches but the old air cooled ones could be trouble if you didn't know what you were doing. The rear end had a nasty habit of swinging out on a curve and putting the car into a spin. I grew up when such cars were popular and we had a lot of windy mountain roads. I can remember several people wreaking their Porsches. One person who died in such a crash was our family dentist.

This one was a 2005. The guy driving was a professional racer. They should have kept it on the track.

I truly believe those movies have been somewhat responsible for a lot of young people dying in those shitty ricer cars.
