The American cars have come a long way but in the end you're paying for the engine. It's definitely a niche thing, definitely can't compare it to the Euro cars.
It's exciting that we're even having conversations about 500-700hp street cars. I think the next 5 years are going to be very good for car guys. Everyone has skin in the game now.. it's getting good.Last edited by VAiN; 01-09-2015, 09:35 PM.Originally posted by wiseguyThat shit will welcome you in the morning and pour the milk in your count chocula for ya.Comment

Yeah, um, not particularly impressed by too many Euro cars as far as quality control goes. And much of GM is Euro...Comment

Well, when I get mine (and I will) the wife and I will take you to dinner and the track...
But I've seen those low 1/4 mile times...
I've put 9000 miles on my 2008 Super Bee so far and my mods to date are removed mufflers and resonators and added a CAI...
According to the computer, my best 1/4 mile is 13.8 at 109.4...
The car has great midrange power, but it's hard to launch...
It's best to just roll into the throttle and let it do it's thing...Last edited by VAiN; 01-09-2015, 09:41 PM.Originally posted by wiseguyThat shit will welcome you in the morning and pour the milk in your count chocula for ya.Comment

They're nice, my sister-in-law has one in Florida no less. BMW has come a long way as well, but they've had their garage queens and ticks as well. Looking at you, previous gen Series 7. Either greatest car ever or rotting white elephant in the garage - this from a German no less...Comment

What's the old Euro joke about German engineering? "Why make something that runs perfectly well with four parts when you can use 16 parts?"

I'm tired of driving slow. I need some speed, but ain't gonna get it until some of the salt washes off the streets. I got to look at my SRT as I got the snowblower out today.Writing In All Proper Case Takes Extra Time, Is Confusing To Read, And Is Completely Pointless.Comment
