I'll open up a can of worms here...

She has a point in there. I know too many females who know nothing about politics or government, so much so that I'm in awe how they passed it in high school. They'll make excuses to not care about voting, saying that you can't get your voice to the president so why bother and then saying local seats are not important enough to care about. BUT, it's the end of the world if they don't know what happened on American Idol last night or if they can' find the latest spring fashions in the stores. It breaks my heart. Is this what our great-grandmothers fought for?
