3 years AFTER declaring Mission Accomplished.
A hallmark of true incompetency, making a statement that is complete bullshit and getting CALLED on it.

Can any of you even believe that POS wasted resources to fly out to an aircraft carrier on a jet? After fucking off in the airforce reserve during Vietnam? Give me a fuckin' break! That should get every old fashioned American redneck's blood boiling. What do you think Cat?

Reminds me of somebody else, except he wasn't from a large state.
So I guess you think Ah-nold is qualified for POTUS. Are you down for a Constitutional amendment?

      Awesome!

No, I'm not in favor of an amendment allowing foreign-born politicians to become president.

So I guess your argument went down the toilet though, huh?

Yeah, I agree with you about that amendment thingy.

So far, Bush's war on terror seems to have been against Saddam Hussein more than anything. There is much more evidence of WMD's in Iran than there was in Iraq, yet Bush has been very patient, save for his periodic obligatory "tough" stances.

Dubya wanted to topple Hussein the first chance that he could, and 9/11 gave him that chance. In my opinion, Bush took advantage of a nation that was scared and confused to obtain his objective. Disproven claims of ties to bin Laden, The legendary WMD's...the list goes on and on.

I think that that the reason Bush made his ridiculous "Mission Accomplished" photo-op is because his mission WAS accomplished. Saddam was out of power. Unfortunately, Dubya didn't think much about what would happen afterwards.

I can't find anything to dispute here, sadly.

Going after the Taliban was on course, beyond that i'm hard pressed to agree with much beyond doing what should have been done in Desert Storm.
One thing i had trouble with in Bush's speech yesterday, well, there were a few things, but that's another thread, was his claiming Zarqawi being the Al Quaida connection in Iraq.
I wasn't aware that he was there before the start of the war, maybe because he wasn't?
That's a grey area and i don't like people exuding confidence on questionable ideas.

Win the battle, lose the peace.

How many times has Herr Rumsfeld miscalculated our men and women into body bags thus far.

Why were people who clusterfucked their way through this given MEDALS?

Why were Shinseki, and everyone else who DARED TO BE RIGHT IN THE FACE OF POWER shown the door?

                What "mission"??
                What "strategy"???
                What "victory" ???????

This whole PNAC / BushCO agenda has had NOTHING whatsoever to do with any "war on terror"

That's almost as funny as the "war on drugs" while the CIA is smuggling, and we're arming contras........BushCO, the prequel

                Deja Vu anyone?

Here's some Irony for ya, I helped paint the D.A.R.E. Police Car for Forest Park Ohio's program...and we were stoned off our ass when we did it, lol.
Hey, that airbrush work of Sparky the Drug Sniffin' Dog was as inspired as a Pink Floyd album.

When asked, "How did you guys do that?", we could only laugh.
