The gist of the artciel is that Rick Santorum is a butthole. Why wouldn't the rest of gw&friends be tooting their horns together about this if it was such a big find?

Most likley they buried the shit to get rid of it a long time ago. One of the main goals of the riots after the fall of Saddam was to destroy paperwork and other information.

One of the biggest complaints by the US and UK administrations back in 2002-2003 was that Saddam couldn't produce proof that he had destroyed all of his chemical munitions.
