The Western Europeans hate us but in Poland and the Czech Republic they are more forgiving. The Japanese are more forgiving.

What blows my mind is places like Utah that still welcome George W. Bush like he's a big hero. The conservative right in this country will vote the party line nomatter who is in office. That scares me more than anything. The last election showed there is hope.

But I've never seen foriegn relations between the US and other countries at a lower point. When the Canadians and the British hate us.

I think a good amount of Canadians just hate US politics...not the people.

Being an asshole is not resticted to any nationality or border....it just seems the assholes are the most outspoken and remembered.

As far as troops overseas goes...anyone who would of thunk Afghanistan would of been a quick mission has not really followed these types of conflicts or this confict itself.
Afghanistan was never layed out as a quick mission.

We had troops in the former Yugoslovia with UNPORFOR and then KFOR for over 10 years...and we lost soldiers there too.
