Honestly, not that the comment was right, but the whole making this huge deal out of it -- Sharpton accused those Duke boys, Jesse is giving the stripper chick who lied a full tuition scholarship, all this. When asked if he was going to apologize to the media attacks he did to the boys, Sharpton said no.

Where the hell is the backlash on them? I would think accusing some guys of raping a girl trumped "nappy headed hoes"

Imus lost his show because all of the sponsers pulled out, if that would not have happened he would still be on the air, it's all business. Kind of like the uproar about the dixie chicks a few years back. If you make your living off the public and then say something deemed unpopular sometimes you have to pay. In the Imus case it does look like sharpton and jackson had a personal vendetta.

The real tragedy was the real nappy headed hos: Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton stole the limelight from the Reuters girls basketball team making a big fuss over nothing. Like David Lee Roth said,"You are as big as what irritates you."

The Reuters coach and team showed ultra class forgiving an old man who said something dumb and getting on with life.

You played great basketball girls! Let's not forget that fact!
No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!

Both Rev Al Sharpton and Rev Jesse Jackson have their own radio shows. Along with their own questionable pasts & professional victim status, is the fact that they were calling for the elimination of their own competition (Imus). Talk about self serving conflict of interest.

No matter what you think of his politics Rush wasn't "lucky" he is a talented broadcaster.
            BTW Air America sucks!

Imus is a victim of double standard but he crossed the line and paid the price. He was beyond his expiration date anyways. He will probably go to Siberia, I mean Satellite radio.
