But - right out of Goebbels 101 - a lie repeated often enough becomes "the truth". So they repeated the isolated scream, and the lie they built around it, to ridiculous levels, while at the same time pushing the "electability" of DLC poster boy Judas IsKerryot.
It was every bit as much of an assassination of the next President of the United States as what took place on June 5, 1968. Just not as messy.
