Every Single Fucking Repuke Bastard in the House voted "No" on the Stimulus Package
The only "bipartisan" part of this bill was the NO VOTE. The NO vote was made up of Republicans and Democrats - that is "bipartisan". The partisan vote was the YES vote - because only Democrats voted for it.
Yes, there was some of that. But remember that because of the policies put forth by Carter and Clinton lenders were pressured - heavily -
Clinton was pressure heavily by Phil Gramm and Newt Gingrich if you'll recall, as he the Republicans had the majority in the Houses by then.
And since we're bringing up names, I think we need to mention Reagan, and Bush, and Bush, and the GOP held congress from 1994/96-2006...
by the gub-nent to make these loans to people who couldn't really afford it.
Horseshit! Please provide a percentage of what were subprime loans. The provide examples of anyone complaining about having to take on those lucrative, high interest rate subprime loans they kept actively seeking out. A lot of the people defaulting had fairly good credit...
...Then when Fannie / Freddie were involved in shenanigans and Bush and Republicans tried many times to reform in it was people like DODD and FRANK and WATERS that blocked it.
Oh brother. Reform what? When was this ever a serious issue to anyone until it was too late. And again, as I stated in another post, Fannie and Freddie DONATED TO REPUBLICANS too!!
What about AIG, Morgan Stanley, Leman Bros., and other Wall Street brokerages that were heavily donating to the Republicans as well as Democrats?
The housing / mortgage problem is 100% the fault of bad Democrat policies and politicians.
LMFAO, Right! an other partisan simpleton buck-pass from Sgt. Dork. But yet, the Republicans were the majority party with enough votes to effectively ignore the Democrats from at least 2001-2006. But yet, those evil liberals worked they're magic in the "do-nothing" congress of slackers and corporates whores to prevent the ethical, hardly ever indictable Republicans from getting their fraud out. And more fairy tales?
Where was your cries for "bi-partisanship" from 2001-2006 while your RePukes spent us into debt faster than all previous admins in history?
You gotta stop that thing you do with the disparaging/renaming bullshit because if it doesn't make you look as immature as FORD at most, it looks petty at the least.
Mostly because it puts the brakes on my train of thinking, as I have to reaccount for what in hell you mean with "Repukes"=Republicans, aha that's what he means, got it.
It's easier to just reply in like-babyhead form with "well you with your Democraps" cuz it flows better than the term you use, yet I just don't because its stupid.
Don't take it personally, I'm not insulting you just the delivery.
Part of getting what Obama wants was in the nomination of that Republican senator by the democrat governor I keep hearing about.
Part of what the Republicans want taken out of that freemunnylust package is to make our 30 million illegal aliens ineligible for it.. that's a savings of 15 billion dollars to people who never paid into nor should receive out of the tax based income of the Treasury.
That's just part of it. I'm not a fan of the Republican party but the more disparaging noise FORD makes about how they're stifling and opposing the foolhardy Democratic party the less weight he carries.
