man, my intentions with this thread went totally off track. Think about it this way...if Obama came on your TV and said, "I'm addicted to tobacco!", would you have voted for him?

No prob with me...So long as you cut government spending and get out of the way. All have or will fail to do so. Clinton and Bush expanded government....As will be the case with Obama. That's the problem....In my view anyway.

No problem with that statement at all. Hyprocricy has to be exposed for what it is. Do you think Truth.com supports republicans? It is the failure of the Mccain campaign that this wasn't made an issue. It is a huge issue and effects many americans on a personal level. First off, for the McCain camp to try and make Obama's smoking an issue would have been flat-out retawded...do you think American's are so stupid as to worry about what Obama does with Kools? Not much of an issue, considering who McCain chose as a running mate!

No place to plant a garden at present. I buy organic stuff when I can find it and when the price isn't completely ridiculous, but that's no excuse to allow the corn whores to keep their stranglehold on the US food supply. Canadian food companies manage to use real sugar, and there sure as fuck ain't any sugar cane growing up there.

When asking if one would vote for such or such candidate to the presidency of a country, it should strictly have to do with politics. Not behaviors as romote as smoking (wich is still a legal act in the U.S.).

Presidents are human beings, not super heroes...

Let the guy indulge in a cigarette or two... or more. And concentrate on real issues... Like running a country out of poverty and debts!
