I would not go so far as to label all of the dissent thrown at the new administration as being of a racist nature, yet by and large a great deal of it sounds like a bunch of petulant, wounded whining. Obviously most dissent is not racist, although there was a very clear subtext of the "Willie Hortan" wing of the GOP during the election trying to stir up controversy but doing so with plausible deniability...

The people who excuse Bush by saying "he was only President for 9 months before 911" are the same ones attacking and condemning Obama within days of his inauguration.

This is about hating and attacking by any means necessary. Even trying to hold Obama accountable for things that Bush himself is guilty of. Such as the botched response to Katrina. Back then it was time to make excuses. "State and local, state and local authorities are to blame" they cried.
