After that babbling troll Bush Obama is refreshing because he actually can speak correctly. Obama kind of reminds me of my little league coach who always said, "yes we can!"

But let's look at Obama. He's renaged on most of his campaign promises. Not only is he not bringing troops home he's sending more over and is talking about expanding into Pakistahn. He rewarded the crooked bankers who fucked us. Now he's raising taxes like a mad man which will only result in a tax rebellion later.

Granted this guy inherited a huge mess but he's only been throwing gasoline on the fire since he came into office.

Obama has the worst of the worst of cabinet members. A Bush era Secretary of Defense and Wall Street criminals in charge of the treasury. Then a bunch of Clinton retreads who deregulated the banks and allowed the big screwfest to happen in the first place.

Obama's people are the like allowing the fox to guard the henhouse.

Geitner was never on Wall Street...

And Sec. of Defense Gates is extremely competent and was worthy of keeping his job...

Geitner ran the New York branch of the Federal Reserve. It was the Federal Reserve that caused the fucking bubble in the first place. It's also a private bank that is as federal as Federal Express.

Geitner had a lot to do with the Citicorp fiasco.

                Replying to Nick.

You may want to rethink your thoughts on President Reagan. He was faced with the financial shitstorm FBHO is when he took office as Governor of California and then as President again after the spineless shit stain Jimmy Earl Carter ruined President Ford's financial corrections. Jimmy was the one saying Governor Reagan didn't know what he was doing and the same parrots that are triumphing FBHO's platitudes are the same assholes that didn't have a clue about Reagan's record in California. Reagan almost turned his back on his own better judgment and went into an economic meeting and stunned everybody sitting in that room as he had agreed the night before with the consensus.
All he did was simply remember a line from his 1971 inaugural speech:

A tax increase – even under the illusion that it would be a temporary expedient – will not resolve this problem. In the first place, temporary taxes have a way of outliving the problems that caused their birth. Government may protest that it never gets the money it needs, but it always manages to find a need for the money it gets.

FBHO would do well to study the past but he has way too many assholes essentially cheering: YOU GO GIRL!
FBHO is truly the most unlettered buffoon to take the Presidential oath. You'll get your caste system whether you want it or not. FBHO isn't worthy of Reagan's used Kleenex.

By the way Nick, Reagan may have presided over that recession, however do you remember what he had to do on his 3rd day in office? Raise the national debt. Reagan wasn't blaming shit on anyone. He did his job and for the next 12 years the Republicans in Congress increased the National debt to about 4.3 trillion. The same asshole Republicans want a second chance to ruin again. I'm hardly the dummy, but maybe we throw everyone of these bastards out of Congress and start fresh. And don't give me that shit how your guy is doing fine for your state. My Florida reps and senators need to go yesterday. The federal government has grown too big and doesn't know what the fuck its doing and doesn't give a fuck about you. Least of all FBHO.

You want a substantive discussion, we'll have it somewhere else other than a Roth fan board.

Our green President better get his act together quick. The inheritance excuse isn't going to fly. He knew damn sight well what he was getting into when he applied for the job. Iran and Russia are flexing their muscles and North Korea is right behind them. Lets not forget Mexico's problems that are coming across are borders in droves. Yeah the AIG mess is getting all the press, but Fannie Mae and rival Freddie Mac are getting ready to fork out bonuses too.

The same shit would be happening under McCain. Obama is the president so his the center shit target but let's be honest. All the candidates that had any chance in hell of winning were all bought and paid for by an international oligarchy of powerful bankers with a globalist agenda. It's no secret these people meet regularly and have a grand agenda. Politicians are the tools they use to get what they want.

You may want to rethink your thoughts on President Reagan.
You don't really know my thoughts on Reagan. I actually respect him, if I don't agree with much of his agenda which I saw/see as a bit negative for the working person and middle class...

But he was a strong leader, and I do agree with his take in individuality and responsibility, just not on how he thought it should manifest itself politically...

This is all complete revisionist horseshit! Carter was also faced with a "shitstorm" as the chickens from the Vietnam era and the overspending were coming home to roost. The entire 1970s was shaky economically and it began under Nixon during the 1973-75 recession and never really fully abated. The attempt to pin this all on Carter is fucking feeble and so fraught with sophist horseshit I don't know where to begin...

Reagan certainly had his own fuck ups as his policies intensified the recession that happened COMPLETELY DURING HIS FIRST TERM!

And yes, there were the famous tax cuts. But much like Kerry's voting record, what is less famous today is that Reagan RAISED TAXES BEFORE HE CUT THEM!

FBHO would do well to study the past but he has way too many assholes essentially cheering: YOU GO GIRL!

Right. So you're stacking a Harvard educated lawyer from the middle class against an enabled actor famous for being an aging, flighty ditz. and calling which guy the buffoon?

By the way Nick, Reagan may have presided over that recession, however do you remember what he had to do on his 3rd day in office? Raise the national debt. Fucking spare me! Reagan "wasn't blaming anyone," but his people sure were! Everything was Carter this and Carter that for his first term and this showed up very much in the 1984 campaign against Mondale...

                              What was his slogan again?

You want a substantive discussion, we'll have it somewhere else other than a Roth fan board.
Why? This is one of the best political boards I've seen where Mods like me are "hands off" and don't ban people almost solely based on pansies that complain via PM after they get owned!
