Could someone explain to me why the pirates of Somalia are not classified as terrorist?
Especially in todays economic threats. After all they have already tried to get weapons of mass destruction ( I guess tanks could be used as WoMD) Sure would have made them a bigger issue to deal with. And they have threatened to "get even" with the States> the reason to classify them as terrorist are as many as many other organizations classified as terrorist.
If the government of Somalia is involve, shouldn't it be classified as an axis of evil( if that was ever or still is a classification.

I never doubt their ability, I doubt their authorization. I'm sure there have been plenty of times our military has been chomping at the bits to "take care" of a situation, yet the go ahead never comes.
