One thing I don't like about Palin is she always tries to be facetious & cutesy in her speeches with that little wink in her eye. Whether it's the media she's talking about, Obama, other Dems, whatever. It really bugs the hell out of me. Like she's talking down to us. If something is upsetting you, just say it. Be mad. Don't beat around the bush and try to get your point across with little hints & touches of sarcasm. Pet peeve of mine.

It's pretty annoying when someone that isn't very smart talks down to one...

Or at least not anyone that actually has access to speak to the treasonous fucks.
Well this is what you get when you have that moment before the election where they tell you that your "throwing your vote away". Even with a supermajority there are "treasonous fucks" about wasting a clear path. If there was a legitimate third party, some of those members could agree or disagree as they saw fit and clear the logjam to actually ACCOMPLISH something. I hope you remember this next election cycle.

In the meantime, focus all your hatred toward "treasonous fucks", as the Republicans don't really matter and you really can't blame them. They are doing what they do. These "fucks" are wasting the opportunity your man Barry O has been given. With things the way they are, this window will not last very long.

          I dunno...

If she's honest and stepped down from her position as Governor for a "higher calling" and actually attempts to shed some light and truth, I might consider voting for her...but that could be signing her death warrant...

If she gets a show on Faux News and becomes a celebrity with books and documentaries, and is suddenly shot into the limelight, i'll pass...

This is all a money move.
And the fact that elected officials cannot criticize citizens.

After all the media attention she got running with McCain, being a little ol' governor is boring to her. She wants to be in the limelight more and run for the presidency in 2012. By then the country will be in a real quagmire with the Democrats failing miserably in fixing the economic problems. Both former Republicans and Democrats will be looking for real leadership and not the typical Republicrat fodder of the past. Nobody is going to want Sarah Palin and the novelty of a minority winning the presidency has happened with Obama. Now nobody will give a rat's ass about a woman becoming president.

People are going to be looking for a real leader to get us out of the economic mess and get our freedom we have lost back after four years of being squeezed hard.

We all knew Billary would run for President but nobody knew who Barrack Obama was in 2004. That guy wasn't even on the radar. I thought Hillary would be the new president since she was backed by the big Rockefeller money. Possibly the next president will be someone we never have heard of. 3 1/2 years is a long time and the circus will begin soon enough with Palin being one of the main clowns.

Basically Alaska's energy resources makes it easily the richest state in the union. That means, Alaska has the wealth to make lot's of mistakes and has the resources so even a dolt like Sarah Palin can run it. In other words. When you have money, you can afford a few idiots like Sarah Palin. A far cry from running a broke Federal govt facing rampant inflation and a huge trade deficit.

It's amazing that Moosealini ran around all over the country last year accusing the Democrats of being "socialists", when she was the governor of the ONLY state that actually practices socialism - government owned oil resources, with money paid back to the Alaskan people.

Not to mention the "socialist" bailouts for corporations that she and other Repukes don't seem to have a problem with.

This is, if anything, Rethuglican damage control so they can bullshit their party back into relevance in 2012. Not gonna happen though no matter how much they toss words like "European socialism" around. The Rethugs are going to have to re-invent themselves from the inside out if they are hoping to have a say in well...anything. This would entail dumping (as in completely) their association with the whacked Christian Right, distancing themselves from Right-Wing talk show/radio pundits and come up with better ideas that actually work instead blaming every failure on liberals (or being liberal).

Palin was a tool. Nothing more. Nothing less. She was a hollow shell from the beginning and now the cracks are showing and even she cannot wiggle herself out the mess the GOP is constantly finding itself in. To call it quits half-way through your elected term does seem a bit bizarre; her choice to step down didn't seem to come off as being unilateral just from the demeanor of her press conference. So if the hierarchy of the GOP is pulling the strings of their (elected) governors/senators I find that to be a little scary in some ways.
Palin was brought in because that black guy might just win the presidency. God Damn it! We need a Mexican, a woman. God Damn it! We need somebody on board to give this black guy some competition! Gee. That woman governor up in Alaska was a beauty queen. Let's get her. Now the beauty queen believes her own bullshit.

We actually have a one party system. The Republicrat Party. There really isn't much difference. Obama's foreign policy is no different than Bush's but Democrats tend to want to control everything more on the domestic side. Both spend like drunken sailors in a whore house.

The big corporate, banking, and pharmacutical money backs both parties. They bet on all the horses in the race. Then we watch the greedy jockeys (politicians) duke it out with each other over who gets the power seat.

Would many of you dish out the same type of criticism and bullshit if she weren't female?

Any politician deserves being under the microscope... but I sense a certain lack of objectivity with the gender crap being thrown about.
