Beck looks like a sad puppy. They pay him well but you see the guilt and the internal conflict in him. He's also a drug addict with issues which makes him easy fodder. I wonder if they are just bribing him? What kind of dirt they have on him? I wonder if they just probe his orfices or if electro shock therapy comes into play with this guy. Beck. Well that I can understand but Fox has gone way beyond the bounds of fabrication and are now literally pulling anything out of what they can find in their collective asses. If Beck really did his research instead of talking like a inept used car salesmen he realized the frog in the boiling pot was coined by liberals in the height of the 80's who were against the arms race/Cold War nuclear proliferation. But I guess you can apply that allegorical frog and the pot of boiling water to anything these days.

I first heard the frog in boiling water bit when I was a kid in church. Maybe the Mormons invented it because that's where I first heard it in the early 1970's.

BecKKK actually admitted to being an addict/alcoholic and credits converting to Mormonism for his sobriety. Although I believe he's also admitted to being on pharmaceuticals (anti depressants, I think) now, so it's probably been a self-medication issue all along.

No. He's in Satan's power. The frog in the pot was used to show us how Satan slowly takes us over without us knowing it. Much like how the Mormon church uses soft mind control techniques on it's members to control them without them knowing it. Takes one to know one.

I'm actually glad you posted this thread Ford. I don't watch Beck, but I was visiting my Mom for lunch and this was on. Honestly, not one word of his speech even registered with me. The whole time all I could do was think:

"dude, don't do it...don't do it...oh God, that idiot is really gonna do it. PETA is gonna go nuts. Dems, Libs, everyone who already thinks this guy is crazy is gonna flip fucking out...don't do it...don't do it...holy shit man, DON'T DO IT!"


As a side note, I used to take my stepson out after the rains to collect these little frogs from the rain gutters in our neighborhood. We would then haul our daily catch up to my Dads house. Several acres and he has a man made pond especially for frogs. Our best day was 14 frogs, 3 toads...and 1 big ass bullfrog. So I did not want to see a frog get boiled.
