So today, the news was going on and on about Yemen.
Guess what, Yemen is props from Somalia.
Somalia government and banks of Somalia participate in what, hijacking and extortion.

Supporters of Somalia pirates cite that the extortions began because there was no legal help for the waste being dumped by corporations in Somalia. This dumping killed off the fishing that the pirates used to do. The supporters will tell you this is way to get back at the evil robot corporations.
Similar is said in Nigeria, that if the persons they were scamming where not greedy they would not be trapped in their targets. A holy war of sorts, wrong as it may be.

Somalia is against the evil robot corporations, Nigeria is against the evil corporate feeders, sparing those not greedy.

To them they are fighting the fight Nitro speaks of, standing against corrupt corporations and corrupt government personnel.

Moreover, for some reason, no one can see how corruption will beget or is corruption. No matter who is doing it.

In the vision, they have done the very thing Nitro calls out for a come to arms against corporations. America with its Coca-cola, McDonalds, and KFC's blazoned across all regions of the globe and no benefit to any, save some robot corporation. They are helping save us from us.

Memories are long though reasons may not be. When America, tricked the Mujahedeen in Afghanistan or whatever area and Russia lost its ass. Russia was building up the area and bringing in development. It did not take a sociologists for heart-felt people to see that by trickier they lost real things. However, those old reasons may be lost to legend and morphed into whatever feel good story of the year or decade. The underlying current is we have taught trickery is the means.

    I could be wrong.

The point is no matter the intent, this is a criminal enterprise as much of a criminal enterprise as any other criminal enterprise.
Democracy is not capitalism run amok. Moreover, capitalism run amok is not democracy.

Part of freedom is a justice. Justice is denied to segments of society due to agencies operating outside of laws or taking advantage of places, where there is no law. Where there is injustice, there is no freedom.

To put it simply, we need to worry a lot less about how to communicate our actions and much more about what our actions communicate.

What surprises me is that they haven't hit a shopping mall or a festive gathering like a 4th of July parade somewhere in middle America. To me that would strike more terror into us American's than trying to blow up planes.

I still feel we got cocky or complacent when we thwarted the Millennium plots in '99, thinking that was the only viable way to strike this country.....I know, I know, the total cluster fuck and failure to connect the dots for 9/11 was just plain stupid and sloppy on our Intelligence Community's part but.......

The whole idea of terrorism is not so much killing as many people as possible, although that's the big win, it's not really necessary....bombing a mall in say, Kansas, would really scare the shit out of us and make us more afraid then using planes. I feel at least, when I fly, that's there's more of a risk to my life then say going to the mall. What would it do to this country if the opposite were true?

I don't know, the airline corporations are so near collapse now. How many more hits do you think they can take before the finical collapse?

But, like banks.... airlines are not going to just go away.

Isn't Virgin the only airline turning a profit?
That is if that isn't just slush from other segments of Virgin...

It seems to me that rather than killing innocent people to inspire fear, it would be far more effective if the economy was crippled even worse than it currently is. Nothing upsets Americans more than when a measure of the comfort they take for granted on a daily basis is suddenly and irrevocably removed. Seriously. Take out people's cell phones, cable or internet service for more than a day, and tell me they won't go positively bat-shit with anxiety.

Very true, Craig. I've always said that if you want to start a revolution in this country take away a person's remote or cable TV.

..Republicans have wasted no time in attacking Democrats on intelligence and screening failures leading up to the failed Christmas Day bombing of Flight 253 — a significant departure from the calibrated, less partisan responses that have followed other recent terrorist activity.

The strategy — coming as the Republican leadership seeks to exploit Democratic weaknesses heading into the 2010 midterms — is in many ways a natural for a party that views protecting the U.S. homeland as its ideological raison d’etre and electoral franchise.
Which is pretty ironic actually--as the vast majority of deaths resulting from foreign acts of terrorism have occurred during Republadick administrations...

He'll come up with some theory about how allowing passengers to listen to headphones on airplanes, without paying a $4.99 royalty per song to the RIAA, directly leads to terrorism.

Just picked up my neighbor from Colorado Springs Airport tonight, his flight was from LA to Denver then to The Springs....he never had to do that the last hour of his flight. Might just be International flights.
