It seems to be "Intellectual" because of the way it is worded and re-alighned towards a point that has absolutely nothing to do with the original situation.

These "things" are usually reworded to berate the America that these Intellectualls despise, yet still suckle at the tit of.

A exact example is: this HR problem that is the pathetic title of this thread,
    some company that,
    has a contract,
    with a weapons manufacturer,
    that has a contract,
    with a company,
    that sells weapons,
    to a organization,
    that assembles/ sells weapons,
    to a company,
    that sells these weapons,
    to another company
that equips and trains police in a country 7000 miles away.

    That is moronic.

Soon we will have page 4 of this nothing that some feel is a reason/need to be repected.

More than anything, I'd put it down to an honest degree of basic human nature, a point that you yourself addressed by acknowledging the "Group-Think" that is part and parcel of what is going on, country-wide.

Is there an inherent safety in numbers? By all means, of course there is, particularly in the body politic. All you need do to recognize this is to look at how words like "liberal" (for instance) have been adapted to no longer mean progressive thinking, yet rather in today's world defines a slur taken to describe someone that is unfocused and hopelessly unrealistic. As recently as 20 years ago, this same definition applied to the word romantic, yet both words inferred an optimism that has decidedly disappeared from the arena of political theory.

And I'm not talking about those dimwits that believed the world would change overnight if they voted for Obama. To simply put a new guy in charge of a system that is full of fault and expect immediate change is not only naive and genuinely idiotic, it also explains why the Oakland Raiders and Washington Redskins continue to suck, year after year.

Anyway, where was I? Oh yeah, bigotry. thome, the only thing I can tell you is that if you wish to present an alternative to the political thought taking place in a thread, simply do so. Lay out your ideas in a easy to fathom, rational manner. So what if people throw mud at you? Use that to dig in your heels, and go further into detail explaining your beliefs. Remember, it is up to you to prove your arguments. That in and of itself is the point of the entire exercise. And doing so with clarity and reason will eliminate the wise-cracks, believe me.
I would have beers with everyone in/on this most excellent website, and lively discussion would ensue and it would be good, perhaps. I would think it would be most excellent.

The above post reminds me of that.

      Most excellent.

If they were so proud of their Biblical code stamped onto the weapons, why did they not note the on their brochures and give a selection to choose from or collect? It would give reason to buy more than one scope of the same kind as a collection.

No, they were not proud. They were being subversive. They knew they were skirting, if not breaking order one.

Perhaps they have other issues they were feeling guilty about and were making up for it by being religious or what they perceived as a praise to God. It is a common red-flag.

Doing acts of good out of guilt is common.
To put it simply, we need to worry a lot less about how to communicate our actions and much more about what our actions communicate.

I generally ignore your posts because it's too much work to decypher your drivel... I once wondered if you had to give forethought to come off as creative... then dismissed that notion and assume it just flows freely for you...
