I agree with you on dumping organized religion in general, but you had to go and wrap yourself if the flag...yeesh. That's completely different, and you know it. Burning a flag (while a douchey thing to do, no argument there) is the ultimate demonstration of someone's first amendment rights. That's one of the GREAT things about this country, you're forgetting...because YOU CAN. Doesn't mean you should, but you have the right.

I'm tired of that bullshit. Just imagine in 1943 if we were told not to do something at home because it would make the Japanese more aggressive towards us. If Americans were told that, they would have done it because it would piss them off more. I'm just so sick of the whole "we can't offend anyone" attitude we are supposed to have. For the record, I think burning the Koran is stupid and a publicity stunt. And it is working perfectly for this group. Just look at all the coverage they've received.

We went to war in Iraq, and are now giving their people business loans for Christs sake! While Americans at home are unemployed. Giving Iraqi citizens small business loans will make them less hateful towards us. Fuck all this goodwill towards others.
