    CNN projects the following Senate wins:
    • GOPers Rand Paul in KY.


    Washington (CNN) -- A midterm election that cost more than any other in history headed to completion Tuesday with voters overwhelmingly concerned about the economy expected to give Republicans major gains in Congress and governors' offices.

    Early returns showed Republican running strongly, with Rand Paul projected by CNN to win his Senate race in Kentucky

                  Looks like the Repukes technically picked up a Senate seat in Indiana. I say technically because Evan Bayh was never a Democrat anyway, nor was the guy they chose to run in his place.

                  All this teabag bullshit about hating incumbents and insiders isn't going to work here though. The "new" senator is Repuke Dan Coates, who went from Congress to lobbying and now back again.

                                      MSNBC projects Joe Manchin wins West Virginia. Robert Byrd's seat, so it remains "Democratic", but Manchin is FAR to the right of the late Mr. Byrd, unfortunately.
