This new thermite doesn't exist. The truthers have invented it. They had to because the original thermite theory fell to bits even by their standards.
It's a logical leap on top of a non existent material. Show me evidence of this 'nano thermite'. Where did Steve Jones find out about it? Why can't he show a scientific paper showing it's discovery? Why can't he show a sample of it? Why can't he explain how they would get hundreds of tons into the buildings?

Basically thermite is just iron oxide and aluminum mixed at a certain ratio. Nano thermite is the particles of both are smaller. Now I don't know what the end molecular result is from burning the stuff. I see what you are saying, it can be spun petty easy by just saying the rust on the steel was an ingredient in thermite and it was found at the site. It wouldn't even be a lie and then hype that into a conspiracy theory. I mean there's a lot of money to be made in conspiracy theories these days. I've just been checking the Nano Thermite page on Wiki.
All the people writing and updating don't do work on other science Wiki pages but they do contribute a lot to 9-11 pages, conspiracy theories and right wing think groups.
Well surprise fucking surprise.
Also if you look at the articles cited in support of the page they don't add up with what the page is saying and constantly stress the tiny amounts of this substance that have been created only in labs and after 9-11.
I noticed nanothermite.org too. A website you would think would tell you about this chemical, places that produce it etc but no it's a list of circular links to the same Steve Jones shit. Looks like it was set up recently anonymously.
The more I look at this it isn't just nutcases on the internet it's quite a sophisticated con operation.
