Years ago I remember reading how the New York mob started the asbestos removal business. A lot of structural engineers like my uncle were complaining that if the asbestos was removed from high rise buildings the day would come that the steel would fail due to the heat. Asbestos in the day and maybe it still is was the best fireproofing material available. As long as it's contained in a wall it's not a problem. Also, the world trade center was not the normal steel grid framing. It's birdcage design is probably why the towers fell so fast. The conspiracy people say you can see explosions going off but it's probably air pressure escaping the building as the air gets compressed from the building falling.

I won't rule out it being an inside job. All you would have to have is Bin Laden in on it and let him run the operation. Or just let it happen knowing it's going to happen. Like they accused Roosevelt of doing regarding Pearl Harbor. Nobody has gotten to the bottom of that, or the Kennedy assassination and they won't get to the bottom of 9/11 either.

When "U.S. media" was presenting video or "live" coverage of "World Trade Center" towers "falling" or "crashing down," that day, my awareness was that "U.S. force" was going with "martial law" - my feeling knew "U.S." force was, then, expressing itself, same as before. One day, one real American sent what appears as one scan of a "Federal Emergency Management Agency" manual cover - "FEMA" and "August 1997" appear. In center is graphic depiction of 11 buildings. Two stand "out" - WTC towers one and two, tall buildings - gun-scope cross-hairs had been drawn with center-point at one tower, building. That would be "hit" - correct? 11 buildings minus two World Trade Center towers, if both "fell" with "hit" from such force, would be 9 buildings. It gives "message" or "plan" and indication, 9 with 11. From "U.S." force. With search-engine, with internet, such may be realized.

now; here's the dealio. many of you know i have very close friends in the law enforcement business. three mates have over one hundred years service and very high rankings between them. it's simply IMPOSSIBLE to keep a cabal of more than six people quiet. the general consensus is that for each person after that, you'll get at least two leakages of some kind. this, of course, includes peripheral players who may disclose half truths, non truths, or something in between.

as binnie alluded to earlier, no one's come forward with a deathbed confession or inside story for $$$. the truthers interpret this to mean that they're correct: no gain from spilling the beans since the masterminds are already filthy rich and lack any morality.

as a pragmatist with a scientific bent, i'm firmly in the 'show me the facts' camp. and of the billions of words and images generated about that day, how can anyone honestly say they know what really happened?

i'll unrant by giving my sincerest condolences to every person who lost their life that day, worked emergency services that day, and all relatives and loved ones.
