This is repeatedly proven every time some nitwit decides to videotape an intimate moment with a partner...then acts astounded, shocked and surprised when it "accidentally" shows up on the internet. Rob Lowe, Tonya Harding, Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson, that chick drummer from the White Stripes, I'm looking at you.

That's basically saying you like my body now that I'm not in it.
Valid point, but obviously you won't know because....well, you're dead.

At that point it's more a matter of how it fans the flames of the survivors - whether that be family, friends, or in this case, other members of the Taliban who will demand that additional American blood be spilled as an act of revenge.

It's this kind of thing that cost Nick Berg his life - is it worth it?

No I realise that is the way people think and it will cause outrage and help the recruitment of Islamists but it is a bit silly to a rational thinker.

There are dozens of drone attacks by the US all the time which blow up innocent bystanders not really too dissimilar to terrorist bombings if you think about it and people seem to be more upset about some basically sterile fluid landing on people who are dead so unaffected by it.

The Taliban probably shunned the guy who got pissed on. Mostly because he didn't bother to detonate his bomb belt.

Wish the public was as outraged about the way the Taliban treat women and girls.

I think you should read up on the Battle of Gettysburg and the losses in one day. Some of the issues of the Civil War are still with us.

I would say 9/11 had the biggest impact in our lifetimes but I still think it pales in comparison to the Vietnam War and World War II.

What the problem in this country is people are just too passive and lazy now. So that enables the corporations and politicians to do whatever they damn well please. 9/11 just gave them the excuse to feed the big war industry when intelligence gathering and special ops would have done the job over a period of years.

Drones mostly operated by the CIA which has become so powerful it's basically our fourth branch of government. War is suppossed to require an act of congress. For some reason presidents start them and just don't call them wars. Now the president doesn't even have to publicly say anything because the CIA will bomb your ass. Now it's gone beyond the Pentagon. So it looks like the US Federal Government is separate governments now and the whole thing is out of control. Now it's not controlled by the American people but multinational corporate interests. In effect, countries really don't exist in the world of money but their assets are used for a greater financial purpose. But hey, as long as you get benefits to sign up for the military and they use the national guard for overseas games and you have all these military contractors like Blackwater and Halliburton, you don't need a draft anymore.

If you are young and want to blow people's heads off for fun, no better time to live than now. Just a hint. Don't bother to sign up for the military, join a contracting firm. The pay and perks are way better. Just ask anyone who has served in Afghanistan or Iraq. We truly live in the age of the mercenary.

The bin-Laden and Bush families made billions on oil they pilfered from the middle east, while Don Cheney also profited through his links to Halliburton.
How exactly did a friend of the Zodiac killer profit from Haliliburton..?

On topic... bad move to video then post the incident. A lot of terrible things happen on the battle field... can't say a whole lot of it is honorable or even respectful. It's war...

I do see a great irony from our leadership that killing is honorable... but pissing on em postmortem is so disrespectful..?

The top priority of the media right now is the royal wedding. Even though that super bowl for gay men had ended weeks ago.
