I think we should focus on more important issues like the economy and going back to the constitutional republic instead of this corporate fantasy land we are in. Most the population doesn't want gay marriage. The concept has only existed for a few short years while traditional marriage has a history of thousands of years. It's just another controversial issue to stir the pot with. To get everyone arguing and to get the news coverage on that instead of the real problems.

It's hard to sock it to the man when you are high all the time and then join the man by becoming a yuppie later on in life. Most hippies later became what they were protesting about. There actually were very few real ones. It was a fad.

There was a major hippie situation next door to me in the 60's they made sand candles , some were huge and hung from macrame (sp) that they also made for sale, for money for the group, nice stuff...
