Every time there's a mass shooting, I remember this piece of footage from Charlie Brooker's BBC series Newswipe. In it, a forensic psychiatrist outlines the guidelines for news reporting of such a tragedy, assuming that your aim is to prevent further ones.

Gotta go with Lounge on this one. If he was looking to go out in a hail of bullets then the cops would have been more than happy to send him on the marget carpet ride to the afterlife. Looks more like this sick fuck was wearing all the body armor to make sure he didn't get stopped before he was good and ready. But who the hell knows? And I believe the witnesses who said there was someone siting up front who got a call and exited through the emergency exit and the shooter emerged moments later...

There are also witnesses who said tear gas was thrown in from both sides of the room...
