                        How can they charge a guy twice for the same crime? Wouldn't that fall under "double jeopardy"??

                        He should definitely have 12 counts of murder (assuming nobody else dies from injuries) and attempted murder for each of the survivors, but I don't see the logic in excessive counts.

                                James Holmes was charged with 24 counts of murder, two each for the 12 people killed, and 116 counts of attempted murder, two each for the 58 injured. For the murder charges, one count included murder with deliberation, the other murder with extreme indifference. Both carry a maximum death penalty upon conviction.

                                        Do you actually think he has any guilt or remorse. By not hanging this fucker up on top of a tall building to die, letting him sit in a jail cell for life is the problem with prisons today. He gets to eat 3 times a day, sit in a comfy cell, and probably work out and watch TV all on our taxes for the rest of his life. Fuck that.
