I've shot my .44 magnum quite a bit actually. People in the range always step back and ask what I'm shooting. The damn thing spits out a ball of fire about 6 inches in front of the muzzle every time I light it off. Shakes the windows in the range too. I don't carry it on a daily basis...although I do carry it sometimes...but mostly I carry my cheap 9 that I've been shooting for over 20 years. I trust it over my XD. But if I had a GI 50 I'd carry that.American by birth. Southern by the grace of God.

They do and I can't understand why they cost so damn much. S&W cranked out as many as they could back in the day so there should be thousands and thousands of them out there. Hell, I bought my Ruger .44 mag from my uncle who bought it because he couldn't find a model 29...of course, he bought it in the late 70s when the demand was still high. But nowadays you'd think you'd be able to pick one up for a reasonable amount of money.American by birth. Southern by the grace of God.

No, no, no. Selleck played this preening, overtly friendly PI in one or two episodes of the Rockford Files, a guy universally loved by the police and therefore hated by Jim Rockford. Selleck's character (I think) was named Lance, and drove around in an absurd convertible with a huge gun strapped to the glove compartment door, which would fly open every time he hit the brakes. This was of annoyance to Rockford, who'd be sitting in the passenger seat and get nailed in the knee by the gun every time they stopped at a traffic signal.Last edited by chefcraig; 07-22-2012, 08:59 AM.

Elvis, you're a complete dumbshit for buying any of this charlatan grandstanding from that fucking scumbag vulture Alex Jones, who routinely hops on tragedy's bandwagon to make money off his paranoid, delusional and extremely gullible audience. Try putting 1/10th the skepticism in this idiot's rantings that you do "the Gubber'mint".
Morons...
