When I was young and impressionable, I thought this guy was the savior. The dude is a brilliant orator....and despite what many people think, a very smart person. I went to a Jets game on Nov 1 1992 and then left and jumped on over to the Brendan Byrne Arena across the parking lot in Jersey that day and my buddy and I got inside for the Democratic Presidential rally....2 days before the election. I don't feel a President can fully be judged until he has been out of office for a significant amount of time. History dictates how well or poor a president was. I was a registered Democrat when I turned 18......now Independent. I don't think Clinton was a bad president, but let's not make him out to be the Democrats version of Reagan. The republicans think Reagan was a God when he was far from it. Reagan started the whole pilfering of Social Security....don't forget that. Slick Willy was ok.....but not the savior as so many Democrats make him out to be. Nafta?.....How's that working out? The guy was asleep at the wheel when it came to National security. Granted, for 8 yrs all the Republicans did was try to make his presidency as difficult as humanly possible...like I really care who he sticks his dick in. The same people ( Newt Gingrich....etc) have their own skeletons in their closet....most senators do as well. Obama, Romney, Clinton. Reagan.....not as great and not as bad as people make them out to be. Just human beings out to serve their own interests first and slaves to their party. This country needs to honestly and fairly allow for more than a 2 party system and to allow for independent minds to have a voice. The system is broken.....elections come down to which Millionaire has more money for their campaigns. Go ask the people of New York City about Bloomberg....how do you think he keeps getting re-elected? Clinton and Obama were smart enough to appeal to the youth vote.
