This election is more about the "FAR lesser of two evils". Obama isn't perfect, but bottom line - if you make less than $250K a year and/or have a uterus, and vote for team WRONGney - you really should consider seeking professional help.

I actually agree with you but that doesn't make me feel that much better about voting for Obama.....and to me that's the essence of the problem with the way things are set up. There's no circumstance that I can see myself voting for Romney but I don't care for Obama. I'm voting for Ozzy.

Originally, I was going to post the full text, then I figured that would be useless. The folks who can't see the sense in anything Clinton said are people who can't fucking read in the first place....so I've condensed it down to 15 bullets.

1. ”We believe ‘we’re all in this together’ is a far better philosophy than ‘you’re on your own.’”

This goes against the whole concept of free enterprise this country was built on. One man's dream and hard work creates jobs for other to make a better living for themselves and their family. Clinton's remark is slanted toward a socialist view point here.

2. “Democracy does not have to be a bloodsport. It can be an honest enterprise.”


Basically, we will cut the military, CIA and FBI to a point that they will no longer be able to do their job. Iran surely looks like a much bigger threat now than when Obama said they were a small insignificant country.

3. “Senator, I hate to break it to you, but we’re going to keep President Obama on the job!”

Bullshit conjecture.

4. “One reason we need to reelect President Obama is he is still committed to constructive cooperation.”

Obama, Palosi and Reid have been the most obstructive politicians ever.

5. “So here’s another jobs score: President Obama plus 4.5 million, congressional Republicans zero.”

Once again, every budget proposal that came down from the House, Ried and the rest of the liberal Senate put it in their back pocket. Those 4.5 million jobs are mostly public jobs and very low wage jobs. Nothing of true significance.

6. “No president, no president — not me or any of my predecessors, no one, could have repaired all the damage he found in just four years. But he has laid the foundation for a new, modern, successful economy, of shared prosperity, and if you renew the President’s contract you will feel it. You will feel it.”

Obama had the first 2 yrs. with a full control demo House and Senate to work on the economy. They chose to ram a healthcare bill down our throats instead. One in which the majority didn't want. Obama chose to expand welfare and entitlements than create jobs.

7. “So are we all better off because President Obama fought for health care reform? You bet we are.”

No, not at all. Everyone i know has had their health insurance premiums go up not down.

8. “When Congressman Ryan looked into that TV camera and attacked President Obama’s Medicare savings as quote ‘biggest coldest power play,’ I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. Because that 716 billion dollars is exactly, to the dollar, the same amount of Medicare savings that he has in his own budget. It takes some brass to attack a guy for doing what you did.”

Ryan's first draft for Medicare had a baseline that included the 716 billion that was already removed with Obamacare. He has since made another draft for Medicare and Clinton must have not got the memo.

9. “You won’t be laughing when I finish telling you this.”

I was laughing the whole time slick Billy was talking. He basically laid out what he had done in office and said if since you like me, you can still like Obama.

10. “As their campaign pollster said ‘we’re not going to let our campaign be dictated by fact checkers.’ Now that is true. I couldn’t say it better myself.”

Seems like he was calling himself out on this, since most of the so called facts he talkied about are flat out wrong.

11. “I think this [debt] plan is way better than Gov. Romney’s plan. First, the Romney plan fails the first test of fiscal responsibility: The numbers don’t add up.”

Fiscal responsibility. Has he even looked at the over 5 trillion dollars that Obama has accumulated in less than 4 yrs. More than any other President ever.

12. “We simply cannot afford to turn the reins of government over to someone who will double down on trickle-down.”

Oh, slick Willy. I guess he doesn't remember that in those great times he had, it was a House and Senate that was controlled by Republicans and his movement to the center that brought a balanced budget. Obama is so far left, he wants to expand government outward and tax everyone to death.

13. “Now people ask me all the time, how we go four surplus budgets in a row. What new ides did we bring to Washington? I always give a one word answer: Arithmetic.”

Yep, he got one right. The Arithmetic from a House and Senate controlled by the Republicans.

14. “The most important question is, what kind of country do you want to live in? If you want a you’re-on-your-own, winner-take-all society, you should support the Republican ticket. If you want a country of shared prosperity and shared responsibility — a we’re-all-in-this-together society — you should vote for Barack Obama and Joe Biden.”

Socialist viewpoint to the extreme. I can't even believe he would go that far to even say that.

15. “Though I often disagree with Republicans, I actually never learned to hate them the way the far right that now controls their party seems to hate our president and a lot of other Democrats.”

No one hates Obama form a personal standpoint. He seems like a ok dude. From a political position though. He is so far left and so far from being qualified to lead this country and after 4 yrs. it shows, that, no matter how bad things are the far left and Democrats will not own up to their ow mistakes and will continue to look back with blame instead of forward. Which seems funny because the whole premise of their convention is to Look Forward.

Actually, it was the Perot campaign that made the two major parties determined to enforce the duopoly and exclude anyone else from the debates or any sort of media coverage.

Perot actually was leading that 3 way race for a while, before his daughter was reportedly threatened by the BCE and he dropped out. And then dropped back in.

What kind of President would he have been? I have no idea. Overall, he was probably too far to the right for my vote. But he was 100% correct about what NAFTA would do to this country. And we should have listened to him. Just like we should have listened to Eisenhower when he warned us about the military industrial complex.
