...and that's used a lot...

but I've seen a lot of kids that have been diagnosed with PDD...move into Aspergers because or several factors in the academic setting...

I don't know. But I think when it comes to mental illness, people with Asperger are the ones with highest crime rate by far, and they take other drugs, if we're lucky.

I don't know about homicide...but I know when I tried Champix to quit smoking it made me suicidal. Wasn't depressed prior, but two weeks into the treatment I suddenly started crying and wanted nothing more than to be dead. Stopped taking it and I was fine...

Wouldn't you rather have the deterrence right out in the open as I described before, with the cruiser right in front of the school, knowing the officer is in the building?

You might have missed my point later down in the post... I know I get wordy here... Rather than police cruisers paint up humvees that are just sitting in motor pools to match local police. This way you have the deterrent with the national guard inside big vehicle parked out front but free up the actual police.

As you know they are usually diagnosed on a "Spectrum" . The differences between the individuals is as far as you can imagine.

There are a number of misdiagnoses as well.

Sometimes these diagnoses occur very early and aren't necessarily readdressed. They could have been incorrect from the very beginning.

Sometimes a well-meaning doctor will apply a "Spectrum" diagnosis to assist the family in obtaining treatment when like you say they have no idea of the problem.

My guess is in this case the situation may have been schizophrenia or bi-polar or a combination. Aspergers does not lead to this type of pre-meditated behaviour ever. There was much more going on here.

Not too far from me is Columbine High School and every time I pass by there on a normal school day there is a county sheriff's department cruiser always parked outside the main entrance. Usually there is another one circling the area within a 5 to 10 minute radius of response time. Who knows how many threats that school still receives in a year but it has made for a nice police state that the locals have accustomed themselves to.

Whether we like it or not, heredity has so much to do with everything about us. Ever notice all the good qualities in a kid (tall, good looking, smart etc), the parents take all the credit. Any bad qualities are blamed on society...even tho the woman you married has been fucked in the head and medicated from the day you met her. In other words, watch who you decide to have kids with..."apple doesnt fall far from the tree", "chip off the old block" etc.

A video published on CNN shows a a card-carrying member of the National Rifle Association as he destroys the small rectangle of paper that associates him with the organization.

“This is my NRA club card,” he says. “I want to show you my tribute and how outraged I am that the loss of life in Newtown, Connecticut. This is what I’m gonna do with this card,” he explains before brandishing a small pair of scissors and cutting the card up into three roughly even pieces.

I feel the same way about gun control as I feel about legalization of pot.

It doesn't matter what group your in it matters what you do.

I don't want 7000 stoned drivers, because it is legal, driving to work on monday morning .

I also don't think conceal and carry is the answer 90% of the world population cant be trusted with a doobie or a gun they are exactly the same to me.

I have never owned a hand gun I am to hot headed I know that about myself.

90% of the worlds population is looking for something to hold onto and they don't know themselves and they don't think correctly.

Guns are stupid, they are dumb hunks of steel... PEOPLE, are smart we are the ones to blame not the doobie not the gun.

Protesting one or the other is assinine.

500 laws on one or the other does nothing except continue the debate and give the diplomats more hype to fill our day with instead of correcting the real problems.

But that is thier job isnt it...
