"The cure your thinking of" is exactly what you want to come home to after a hard days work. The main problem we avoided with not electing Mitt was Mitt was brainwashed on thinking Iran was this big menace that had to be dealt with. Of course that's right from the Bush neocon, Israel/Zionist play book. I think some of those guys are so far gone they want to start World War III. The Bush family own a lot of land in South America. They of course have access to bunkers. Start World War III and wipe out a lot of the population and then be in a position to take over after it. Maybe they are that far gone mentally. More former generals spill the beans and it shows what insane warmongers Buschco really was. Insane stuff.

Now the problem is Obama is continuing some of the old Bush agenda in the middle east but at least he's laying off Iran and not falling for the whole Israel schtick. The main problem with Obama is he's not a team player. He has his agenda and the constitution and congress be damed. Not that congress is that great but we don't need a dictator.

Actually, the biggest problem with Mittens was his Randtard running mate. Eddie Munster was every bit as bad as Moosealini was 4 years before. And despite being able to speak complete sentences, really wasn't much brighter than her either.

No the problem Mitt had is he didn't have the confidence of enough conservative voters and they just didn't show up to vote or they voted independent. What hurt Mitt was his record as Massachusetts governor. Plus, people viewed him as being part of the financial elite and you just aren't going to be popular in bad economic times when the banks are making a killing.

Plus, Mitt didn't quite get that when your run for presidential office eyes and ears are everywhere; especially now and you have to tell people what they want to hear. You can't be like you are running a company. Plus, Mitt is a driven guy and likes to see things move. I think the slow process of Washington DC would have driven him nuts. I think he's a great tactician. He's the guy you put in charge to turn a mess around from a management and fiscal point of view where things just need to get done. He's pretty much the upper class Mormon manager. That's what they are like. Salt Lake City is full of Mitt types. They very much have a "I'm special and I'm going to make a difference" mindset. The problem is Mormons are politically naive and pretty easy to manipulate. They want to be accepted and feel they are now part of the mainstream and if let's say a Rockefeller or a Bush shows them caring attention, they will eat out of that bowl like a hungry dog. Mormons are organizational loyal and if you win their confidence you can play them like a fine fiddle. Mitt was being played and loved it.

I never saw Mitt capable of out witting the Dick Cheney types and when I heard Mitt say "Dick Cheney would make a great vice president" my jaw dropped. Next to HW Bush, Dick Cheney was NWO mastermind in the White House. Having Reagan as president slowed the agenda down a bit because Bush had a hard time controlling The Gipper for several reason but Reagan was still being played. Mitt wouldn't be the dunce George W. Bush was but I think they could play him still.

My sister seemed to think Mitt would catch on to it and then assert his authority but I never felt that way.

Probably the most interesting Republican president to study is Reagan. The guy's own children said they never knew the real man. He had so many facets to him you never really got a handle on what made the guy tick. I bet he drove the KGB nuts trying to figure him out. LOL!

Mitt was overly vetted. Even to the point of flat out lies. How come Harry Reid was never called out big time for his blatant bold faced lie about Mitt not paying taxes for 15 years? That was bullshit & spineless Harry should have been run out of office long ago. The guy is a disease.

I found the Harry Reid and Mitt Romney spat fun. They both are active Mormons. At church the men call each other brother and they are supposed to be brothers in the priesthood and all that good stuff. That's until money and power become involved and then all hell breaks loose. LOL! It basically shows all that members of the fold bullshit doesn't hold much water.

Yeah the media pretty much painted ol Mitt to be the devil himself. His wife was saying,"Let them eat cake." and Mitt was Gordon Gecko cheating on his taxes, hiding offshore money, and screwing people over. In reality, this would describe most the politicians in Washington DC.

I like how Democrats are now trying to pass off their failure as a Republican.

If we have to accept responsibility for George W. Bush, you have to take your lumps too.

Obama isn't the only right winger to infiltrate the Democratic party. There's a whole wide spread corruption called the "Democratic Leadership Council" (DLC) who are neither Democrats, nor leaders, and they are funded by the KKKoch Brothers, among other corporatist interests.

Sadly there are very few actual Democrats left in the Senate. Harry Reid certainly is not one. My own 2 senators are questionable. Bernie Sanders is the model of a true Democrat, but he doesn't even call himself one. Sherrod Brown of Ohio is pretty good. There may be a few others, but none come to mind immediately.

The House has a "progressive caucus" but it isn't nearly large enough. And thanks to recent gerrymandering by the Repukes, probably won't be anytime soon

And the DNC has had exactly ONE actual Democrat as a party chair in the last two decades.......

and everything he did to restore the party has been wasted by incompetents like Tim Kaine and Debbie Scatterbrained Lush.
