Buffalo's always been a vile, murderous place.
I don't know specific rates, but it ebbs and flows based on drugs and other things. Buffalo was a few years behind LA and NY for gangs and drug related homicides but caught up. The rate was a lot higher here a couple of years ago (with a couple of nightclub shootings that made national news) but has steeply declined the past couple of years AFAIK...

An "assault rifle" is not a "machine-gun." A machine-gun is either a "Light Support Weapon", like the SAW/BAR/Bren Gun or it is a "General Purpose Machine-gun" like the M240-FN MAG/M-60/MG-3, or a "Heavy Machine-gun like the M2 .50 cal. etc.
You can quibble over semantics, but saying an "assault rifle" must be technically fully automatic, or have selective fire, is a red herring as full auto (or cyclic) is rarely used by soldiers in combat. And how many Ruger 10/22's has the 1st Marine Division issued to its marines? How many M-1 Garands are used by the military (other than for D&C)?

No, actually a fucking crazy bitch walking into a elementary school and slaughtering young children with a Bushmaster "assault weapon" is why people are "talking"...The media has everyone so worked up and playing the emotional response button people have no idea what they are talking about. M-16's and AK47's, AKMs, Ak-74's, Tantals are already illegal for most citizens to own and those are real military weapons. And yes the second amendment says individual citizens can own firearms so if militias need to be formed the citizens have arms. It states the militias should be well regulated but never says the arms need to be.

Actually I've never hidden the fact that I play WoW. I really enjoy it & have met some great people there. As far as getting a woman instead of gaming....been there, done that. Sex is overrated and I've done it. Don't really feel the need to tailor my life anymore to someone else just to have sex once in a while. At this point in my life I am really enjoying doing things for me that make me happy.
