Former president Bill Clinton is one of the best political speakers of all time as well as being one of the best politicians of all time kind of like the Democrats version of Ronald Reagan except he looks more like an aging rock star than an aging former president the way the delegates at the DNC & the media fall all over themselves like it's Elvis when he's at the podium.

Because there is no such thing. Clinton can't come out and say that because he's regarded as a leader of the Democratic Party and is already a perennial target of right wing hatred.

There is no such thing as a "war on terror" just like there is no such thing as a "war on drugs" or a "war on poverty".

In fact, each time one of these "wars" was begun, the problem it was allegedly meant to solve, in fact, got worse. And terrorism has increased since the BCE has been in the White House, and even more since the illegal invasion of Iraq.

To defend this country from terrorism, concentrate on the borders. On the waterfront ports where goods are shipped in and out of this country on a daily basis. That's how you fight terrorism. Not by invading other countries and pissing off the entire planet. Not by shredding the Bill of Rights. Not by forcing a perpetual state of fear on the American people.
