I live in the Travon state.. We're all about 'stand your ground'. The problem is most people around the beach are from out of town or older people who are living out their golden years in million dollar condos. You'd think that would make it safer, but it's scary at night there.

The best and pretty much only argument for guns in the US is that there are so many out there already then if they were made illegal it would leave only the criminals with guns.

If you could remove that problem over time by stopping the criminals from being able to fire guns through technology that could cut your insane level of gun deaths down to just a stupidly high level.
