Well, we do have a member of this board whose mom was Jewish, and whose Dad (according to Mormon theology) came from the planet Kolob.

I've known quite a few Mormons but none of them ever said anything about human beings coming from another planet. Are you sure you're not confusing Mormons with Scientologists? I thought Mormons based their religion on Jesus coming back and hanging out with Joseph Smith.

I looked into Mormon beliefs and they're quite confusing. God (Elohim) was once a human being that was created by a higher God and he created the universe. How is that even possible? I'm assuming Joseph Smith made up that part when somebody asked him where God came from and he couldn't come up with a logical answer.
