The most perfect guitar, in your opinion

Ok, We all have our "baby's"(guiitars), but what is the one guitar you would die for???

I've played Fender's, Ibanez, Jackson's, Kramers, PRS etc.

However the most PERFECT guitar I ever had in my hands(The guys in the store wouldn't let me play it) was a 1960 Fender Strat all original with a Hardtail on it....WOW!!! The feel of the neck was incredible.....you know all all broke in and played....

The only ever guitar that I played that can close to that was a 1963 Fender Telecaster a guitar player I knew owned......Yeah it was Modified, pickup's....refret but it was beautiful as well.

    Ok what's your dream guitar??

A WayneGuitar Rock Legend or Villian.

      Or a brand new "Charvel"...
Why settle for something you have, if it's not as good as something you're out to get?

Almost impossible for me to answer. I´d say there are about a dozen that do what they do better than anything else I´ve ever played. Some are cheapos and some not. For some reason, my cheap green SG copy is the guitar I play most currently. It just feels perfect, like it was made for my paws and nobody else´s.

On the expensive side, my 1988 Made in France LAG collectors is hard to beat. You just can´t find anything that was left to chance, perfect craftsmanship.

            OK, uhm...guys...

The words "Squier" and "perfect guitar" do not belong in the same sentence. Just sayin'. :D

As for my perfect guitar(s), they'd be the ones I built myself.
The last few I've been able to spec out every detail prior to construction, so I got EXACTLY what I wanted.

I hear you guys on a good Strat of SG. I have both and love both.

As far as The Perfect Guitar goes, I'll give kudos to Edward Van Halen for having the idea of putting a humbucker in a Strat. The superstrat regardless of who makes it as long as the quality is good is the altimate all around guitar. Ergonomics of a Strat, balls of a Gibson and with coil splitting or single coils, you get the Strat vibe too.

Jackson, Charvel, and everyone else took Eddie's original idea and ran with it.
No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!

Flying V is my perfect guitar. Lightweight, easy access to the highest fret, and they are the ultimate of the original Heavy Metal guitar styles.

I own 2. A Black Gibson, and Korina Epi.

I would like to someday have one or two more Gibsons.

                      They rule!

Here is a pic of my Gibson (#1 Son) and my JB Player neck-thru-body Strat (#2 Son):

This is a very difficult question for me to answer, and I think it depends on the day of the week and what style of music is being played.

Something tells me that everyone mentioning Squire, including myself, were KIDDING.
