btw - napthalene comes in a quart, it will safely remove the stupid Seymour Duncan screened ink logo off the pickup bobbins without melting them. Six bucks a quart at home depot - removes sticky tape residue, too off equipment and pedals.

It's getting an Explorer headstock, actually. And no, it won't have foil cut-outs of the Japanese Islands on its face, either - so there goes your latest theory... And for the record, I've seen these bodies go for a couple of hundred bucks too, and complete Voyagers - even parts mongrels, going for $6-700, but not selling it.

Rus those are some nice Juniors. I was at the Gnashville Guitar Show a couple of weekends ago, and there were a couple of originals. They are selling for around 5- 8 grand these days I guess, though I am no expert.

And back in the 80s all my friends had one because you get them for $250-350 in any pawnshop, and all the pawnshops had at least one. If only I knew then what I know now.

I think that the Juniors are over-valued due to the fascination with more heavily-routed guitars of the same era. They're just collected on the same inane level with reckless disregard to simplicity.

My trusty 1979 Marshall Mk II 100w Super Lead powered by NOS Siemen EL34s on a mid-70s slant cab. Note that the only thing in that photo that cost me over 300 dollars was the Gibson Flying V which I bought brand new in 1989 for $550.
