No, actually that was my point....

I don't have a problem nuking my food on occasion, though I try to avoid it whenever possible, because I know those waves ARE contained within the metal box. Probably even more so now, that the manufacturers had to work around that problem they were having with them fucking with people's pacemakers.

The cell phone radiation is far more troubling. And I don't have the patience to try to cook a burrito with it.

Ironically enough though, the head of the science department at my high school was a fundagelical Christian. I kid you not. (But as far as I remember, he taught the biology lessons the way they were written in the text book)

Exactly.... I'll use it to cook a burrito or reheat leftovers... basically food that's already been cooked will probably turn out alright. But as far as something that actually needs to be cooked.... forgettabout it!

I turned on the news only to discover devastation in the Bow Valley where I was born and raised....and within 2 minutes I made my post that this little flame war was unimportant compared to checking on the safety of friends and family. I have loved ones that have been evacuated from their homes, a couple have lost their homes completely. A dear friend had to be air lifted to hospital due to a spike in blood pressure caused by the stress and is now stuck in Canmore with no way to reach her family, who are stuck in Exshaw.

My cousin in Calgary is between two rivers....on higher ground, but one river is now 50 ft from her home. She has no way to leave as there is flooding all around her.

That should suffice as a damn good reason to state that I had more important things to worry about right now. God, you're stupid. Duh...
