    Ray Luzier Leaves DLR Band

Our good buddy Ray Luzier has decided to leave the Mighty DLR Band, after a 7 year stint, to form a new band with Robert and Dan DeLeo, formerly of Stone Temple Pilots, and Robert Patrick of Filter. While we hate to see Ray leave our favorite frontman, we do want to wish him the best of luck with his new band. The new band has been signed to Columbia Records, and will soon be featured on MTV. The band will be known as Army of Anyone.

Ray's replacement in the DLR Band is reported to be Pat Torpey (Robert Plant, Mr. Big). I'm sure Pat will do a fine job in the DLR Band, and we want to wish him luck as well.

I know I speak for countless DLR fans when I say "thank you" to Ray for being so great to us over the years. We will truly miss your playing, and above all else, your willingness to go out of your way for us.

For further updates on Ray's new band, please check out his website RayLuzier.Com . Be sure to support the new band to show your appreciation to Ray.

Yes, I will be picking that disc up when it lands. Sounds like an incredible opportunity for Ray.
You gotta figure those DeLeo's have a good stockpile of tunes going from the downtime alone.
Looking forward to the new stuff.
    Good luck Ray.

Never said it was the latest and greatest. Thought it was finally time to post it on the front page of a site that people actually visit.

          Ouch--

I personally didn't know. It's not like Ray Luzier news is at the top of the apple cart in the rock pantheons, and I don't have the time to check out any other site than this one.

          Thanks for the update.

                Bottom line?

Ray probably actually wants to make NEW music, and not the fucking 25 year old shit that he forces them to play night after night.

And this gig sounds pretty fucking legit.

                          PANAMA VERSION 2!

Alright, alright, so I was checking out Van Halen music videos with David Lee Roth as the lead singer and what do I come across on a website but a revised version of Panama? Sung by Sammy Haggar? You have got to be fucking joking! I listened to it for like 20 seconds and I closed it... Such a shame to know that a kick ass song like Panama could be ruined by a mop haired fag who thinks that he can bust out Panama better than good ol' Diamond Dave. What a joke! If anyone has seen this video lemme know what you think because honestly, why change a song when it's perfect already.PANAMA VERSION 2
