Our good buddy Ray Luzier has decided to leave the Mighty DLR Band, after a 7 year stint, to form a new band with Robert and Dan DeLeo, formerly of Stone Temple Pilots, and Robert Patrick of Filter. While we hate to see Ray leave our favorite frontman, we do want to wish him the best of luck with his new band. The new band has been signed to Columbia Records, and will soon be featured on MTV. The band will be known as Army of Anyone.
Ray's replacement in the DLR Band is reported to be Pat Torpey (Robert Plant, Mr. Big). I'm sure Pat will do a fine job in the DLR Band, and we want to wish him luck as well.
I know I speak for countless DLR fans when I say "thank you" to Ray for being so great to us over the years. We will truly miss your playing, and above all else, your willingness to go out of your way for us.
