    DLR on Stern

    Guys its official DLR to be on the Radio. He is on Howard Stern now.

                      Feeling a bit silly posting in yet another dupe thread on this topic...

                      But on a different angle...

                      It's rumored that the Philadelphia affiliate (94 WYSP) is about to switch from Rock to a Talk Format, possibly as soon as today.

                      Many other stations involved in the Stern departure are also reportedly in the midst of a format change as well.

                      Will Dave need music to break things up? Or do you think he can sustain talk for 4 hours every day.

                      I know he can talk and is never at a loss for words...but 4 hours is a lot.

                          But I imagine they will stream the show on the net as well.

                          Dave thinks his show will end up competing more against Limbaugh and O'Reilly (as opposed to Adam Corolla) and will be politically based (like his Boston show was)...point of view being extremely socially liberal but with a firm support of the military.

                          Dave will attempt to continue to do EMTing as well.

                          Dave and Howard were way too polite to each other and the interview was actually rather boring.

                                          until they can figure out how to properly bill for advertising time, i don't see it happening. supposedly that's the big issue.
