    The Talk of the Town

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
    January 11, 2006

Diamond Dave: If not the TOAST of the town, still the TALK of the town...

Is there really anything worse than these fucking critics?

(A.P.) Hell, Mich. - Roth Army World Headquarters

You know, you sit around for a couple of weeks, and you listen to Roth's show, and you look around the internet and read the articles. And for a second...for the people that have brains above their asshole...but for a second...you think, "these fucking people actually have a clue..."

Then you realize that most of the people writing these fucking articles have the originality of one of those fucking Dum Dum suckers you get at the bank. Yeah...shit tastes good for a second...until you realize half the wrapper's still stuck on it...and it was probably made in a fucking bomb shelter in 1952.

What's my point? With anything else...open up your fucking minds for a moment. You hear a lot of people that are Roth-heads rollin' around with how great the show is right now. You also hear a lot of Stern-heads talking about how shitty the show is? Then you have the fucking critics...95% haven't listened to the show...bashing Roth for all of what he DOESN'T DO...

So what's the truth? Far be it from me to not tell it like it is. Was Roth's first week a fucking unadulterated success? Fuck No. There was a bunch of shit that just didn't work. But through it all...you catch Roth catch his footing...a little more each day.

Is he Stern? Thank Fucking all that is right in this world no. That's just what this world needs is another Stern, who's newfound infatuation with the Gay Sulu is a bit disturbing to say the least. What Roth is is Roth...trying new shit, saying his bit, and doing something new. It's what he's done from the start, and what he'll do until the end. Will it inevitably work? It depends on Roth trusting the people he has around him, and giving them their footing as well. If Roth actually cracks a window into what makes him tick...Stern will be a distant free radio memory.

What WE get, is four hours of new every day, and it gets progressively better. The critics? Well, they'll continue to spend their hours watching Lawrence Welk, and scouring the internet for ripoff articles that sound more like Huey Lewis and the News than Classic Van Halen. You know, tunes that all sound the same, instead of the shit that people remember...

But ask yourself this? When was the last time you saw this much fucking publicity?

and what does Roth need do?

stop being so fucking secretive, and be Roth...that's all he can be. And when he starts doing that, that's when we'll have a show on our hands...no...not the singer...but the radio host. And if you don't think Roth can talk...where the fuck have you been the past 30 years?

If it's not good enough for you?

What the fuck are you doing here?

    Have a Nice Day...

and when you end up in jail for grabbing that hot chick's ass at the mall...smile...cuz at least you grabbed that ass...

    The Inevitable will happen

Maybe saying that the inevitable will happen is Dave's way of saying whatever will be, will be. In otherwords if it happens it was inevitable and if it doesn't happen it wasn't.

I reread the article - looks like we WAS hinting at more..who knows..

Reuniting the original Van Halen lineup is just a matter of time, according to David Lee Roth. "I talked to the drummer [Alex Van Halen] about a week ago," the band's former lead singer tells the Pittsburgh Tribune Review. "And I think, eventually, the inevitable will happen."

I don't normally listen to talk radio, so I have nothing to compare it to (why compare anyway?); but I've thoroughly enjoyed listening to Dave all week. Each day has been better than the one before. It will be old hat pretty soon.

If the statement is true from the Van Halen camp that
"It will be a Cold Day in Hell" before they would reunite with ROTH...

My Message to EVH/AVH & MA is:

CONSIDER YOUR CAREERS OVER, SPOTLIGHT DIMMED & THE STADIUM EMPTY......

Without ROTH & CVH FANS, you guys will NEVER again be able to laugh all the way to the Bank or recapture any market share in the World of Rock.

Fans have spoken, you've heard us, but don't care...so neither do we.

Major Kudos to ROTH for believing in himself, CVH music he helped create and THE FANS.

Just Remember...Without us (THE FANS) purchasing the CDs, attending the Concerts & requesting Radio airplay of the music catalog - you guys don't exist......

You know what the FANS want, but your egos are beyond redemption to give it back.

ROTH n' ROLL...the way it will remain.

Actually, taking the beer with you to the bathroom and take a piss while you're drinking it can be an art form, and it is VERY entertaining. Mind you, doing it, not watching it. It symbolizes the passage of liquid through your entire body compiled in a 1/10 of second.

                      I'd say it's definitely profound.

                      Cheers! :bottle:

                            Roth Radio

I'm a big fan of Davids music but he need to dump his talk show. His show is lame and half the subjects he has no clue about or his partner Robin. I've listened every day hoping to hear some sign of hope but it just gets worse, 20 min. of him and my ears start to bleed. Please, for the sake of humanity, stick with music, talk show is not your gig.
