    Van Halen tour on HOLD?!?!?

    Just when you thought things couldn't get any more bizarre in the world of Van Halen, they have. It seems as though the tour that was originally scheduled for this summer has been put on hold indefinitely, according to various news sources. Surprised? Well not really. This is the type of thing we have come to expect from these guys. The reasons for the holding pattern are unknown, but it is speculated that David Lee Roth had not yet signed on the dotted line when the announcement was made. There is also speculation that the band, who has a chemistry as volatile as 100 year old nitroglycerin, has had a falling out of some sort. We're sure that's shocking news to all of you.

    We would like to point out that no official response on this "news" has been made by anyone associated with the band. The band's Official Website still shows the original announcement on their front page.

                  As a big fan of classic VH, i will soon have enuff of this soap opera. as someone already posted, this tour is 10 years too late anyway. to me, that was the right moment (listen to me wise magic). now i believe what tequila sam said about ed. indeed, he seems to become increasingly erratic, with a logic of his own (remember his comments about the cause of his cancer...). like jacko, he lives in his own world where noone else (maybe except his brother) can follow his thoughts. i wouldnt probably go to a VH reunion concert now, as noone will know if anybody of the band members, except good ole diamond dave, will show up. ed is out of his mind, it is so sad for him and to anyone else who is involved in any project. the only one who comes near EVH's behaviour is britney, as it seems... where have all the good times gone? ed, it's now or never!

                                      at least van hagar managed to do a whole tour in 2004 (although not a quite happy one)... the bunch should be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of SHAME !

                                              IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IT, WAIT UNTIL IT GETS LEAKED INTO THE PRESS. HIS SITUATION IS SO BAD, IT HAS AFFECTED HIS PLAYING AND THUS BECAME A HUGE CONCERN - SO RATHER THAN HAVE ED LOOK LIKE AN ASS, THEY PUT HIM IN REHAB.
                                              ED HAS AN INCREDIBLE TALENT FOR FUCKING THINGS UP - HIS MARRIAGE, HIS BAND....HE GETS DAVE BACK READY TO ROLL AND BOOF - HE SCREWS UP AGAIN.

                                                          Whatever the excuse or Bullshit is...if Ed's in Rehab, then that's where he should be and let's hope he can get his act together. Better him there than on stage and making an ass out of himself and not giving you the concert you expect.

                                                          I'm going to ride this whole episode out and just not put any eggs in any basket. I hope for Ed to get his demons under control and party when it's meant to happen.

                                                          Can we cease on the rumor mill for awhile until something legit comes down the pipeline?
