      SEATTLE CONCERT REVIEW 10/23/04

well, i ended up going to the van hagar show last night, and it actually was worse than i expected. we pre functioned at a bar close to the key, and arrived 10 minutes into the concert. we missed the first song "Jump" which would have been cool to see. we had great seats, 3rd row center, and were able to see all the band up real close. but the show for me was basically waiting thru the crappy van hagar era radio staples, for the real van halen. they only played 5 real van halen songs; somebody get me a doctor. unchained, aint talkin bout love, panama, you really got me. you really got me was the high point of the show, then sammy clowning around, let some audience members sing parts of the lyrics. he only did this on DLR songs, not his own putrid ones. so it seemed to me he was trying to disrespect DLR even though the audience went wild when they played the real van halen songs. also seeing eddy v's solo was worth admission, he truly is a guitar virtuoso, and he played a worked up version of eruption that was pretty cool. but i can't remember ever going to a concert where i only liked 4-5 songs, and took multiple bathroom breaks(we drank a lot of beer) during a show. in fact, after you really got me and panama in the encore, they wrapped the show up with "when it's love" we left as soon as they played the first bars to this lame am radio slow song. have you ever heard of a hard rock band ending a show with a sappy slow song? this ain't stariway baby! it's really a shame that a great band like DLR era van halen, and the great songs from the first album especially, will probably never be heard live again by the fans. it isn't a case like john bonham dying, or bon scott. van hagar is a TOTALLY different band without DLR, and i will never pay to see them live again. I do plan on seeing the atomic punks and DLR band when they are in town.

When do you post?!? When nobody else is signed on??? I've seen you on recently, yet you never seem to have anything to say, until anybody confrontational has left. Hmmmmmmmm. Tired from all the DEEP conversations at the links?!? You seem to be able to converse there. Grow a pair pal. Until then, head back home and worry that Spammy is gonna get fired TWICE from Van Hagar!!! Then, GET BACK IN THE FUCKING PEN, SHEEP!

            ...anybody confrontational..? Well...
...to be honest I never actually noticed who's who in here. Don't remember any nicks or anything.
And I probably shouldn't be here at all, 'cause I couldn't care less about roth.
The only reason I checked in originally, was because someone on a different board was pointing out how many weirdos was on here.
Folks still living in the eighties. And that there was like this gay worship-thing going on towards roth.
I didn't believe him, but it seems he was right.
While I generally think fags are disgusting, they can sometimes be somewhat entertaining, especially when they're not really totally out of the closet, like you guys.

And even though most of the stuff on here is just a lot of talk about fag stuff, sheep and male reproduction organs, as well as a lot of lame photo-touchups, it's been slightly entertaining.

I noticed a few days ago that someone has actually taken the time to go to great length to discuss me on here. That's kinda flattering! And a little sad, I guess.
This one roth-nerd even took the time to write a whole essay about me and some other dude. It wasn't too funny or anything, but hey, he put in the time!

I'll probably check in from time to time, to see what you freaks are up to!

            'till then...

Don't kid yourself, your on here often enough. Just as I suspected. You nut up when there's nobody to respond to your DAVE insults. Typical linker. No Spammy worshiping here, so you pick your spot for the occasional dig. Just enough to stay under the general radar, but enough to get a vicarious thrill. Fair enough. Your not in the same league as the Mard or LSD. Stay out of the spot light, it doesn't suit you.
Just keep in mind, this is the one and only VAN HALEN.

                      It's 2004

Get out of the 1980's man. Roth left when he thought his shit didn't stink. Sammy is about the Music, Dave is about shaking his ass.

If I want to watch some bubblegum star shake their ass it's going to be a chick, not Roth.

No, you prefer to watch a white trash tool, much like yourself, fumble around the stage. Sammy has real trailer park appeal.

Sammy plus Van Halen... the biggest goof up in Rock.

                                1. I saw Sammy three times before he joined Van Halen. I liked Sammy.

                                2. I saw Van Halen with David Lee Roth. I loved Van Halen (They played Huntington, WV with the Cats as warm up).

                                3. I saw Van Hagar in Charleston, WV... where were all the Van Halen songs... I could have puked.

                                4. I saw David Lee Roth with Steve Vai in Huntington... that's where all the Van Halen songs went...

Van Hagar never worked, never will. I like Jalapeno peppers and strawberry cheesecake ice cream just not together.
