I can't believe that Eddy would make a comment like "I have a life" when interviewed about possibly reviewing message boards.
I have 2 young daughters who listen to VH because I do and they love it. I will not let them listen any more. I have kept VH around in my life because I to am a musician. But only come to realize that ED and his Brother are Ass Holes.

I think the whole discussion about roth versus Hagar is useless. Let's just appreciate what VH has brought us through the years .Dozens of kick ass songs!!! I think the VH boys are a little tired of justifying their actions to the die hard Roth fans. Let's face it Roth as an ego the size if a skyscraper! By the way i kinda digged best of both worlds too you know. In my book VH is Eddie, Alex, Michael and Roth but times change so let's just accept it. And maybe, just maybe a wonder will happen and the'll get back together!

I must say that yes, the '80's really had it's cool times and now we can appreciate some things from it. However, we all are happy with our days now and don't need to talk dirt about celebrities or other people. I for one am tired of all of the mud slinging by fans, yes fanaticss saying absurd things here. I am truly a die hard roth supporter but am able to say in a civilized way how I disagree with some things he has done. However, his music has helped me get through the war and college but not just high school in the '80's. I never read any reason why Dave became an EMT other than his past history but after 9/11, isn't it particular that he is doing this in N.Y.C.? It takes something to get off a high horse and to help someone bleeding to death at 2:30 a.m. or any time. How has Sammy or Eddie compared? Don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed some Van Hagar stuff. Eddie has a right to keep making music as he pleases so when Dave left, hire a new singer and Sammy did a great job. However, I am buying ALL of the DLR Cds because I really dig his solo music most of all, more than his VH music. I never got to see any of these guys in concert. I was a bit busy in the navy amphibeous task force (beach landing), college and raising a girl alone. My all time favorite Roth solo is "Tell The Truth". I also dig his VH "Me Wise Magic". However, the "Panama" video is how I remember Van Halen at it's best. Let's not slam people over a choice of music. After all, we are in America. The things people argue about here is silly compared to those fighting for our freedom to express without getting killed. As far as talking tough, anybody here a war veteran? I dare one to talk disrespectfully to my face. Knock off the negative nonsense, folks. I f you dig or disagree with either Dave, Sammy or Eddie, that's o.k. but don't get trashy here. In this country, we have variety. Let's not abuse it.
