VH Box Set?

Well i just read at vhnd.com that before this tour, there were plans of releasing a box set, of what, no one knows because it never really got processed because of the tour. What was going to be on the box set? No one really knows, could have been unreleased material, kind of like that Nirvana thing that just came out, but thats only a guess. WOrd is that since this tour is done, the box set may be under preduction, for when, i know not

I know! A boxed set of this tour would probably be a huge seller! Yeah, that would be awesome! Performance after performance of RUNAROUND...comparing one night's performance of that classic to another night's performance.

I heard a rumour of a box set being released (I think I've mentioned this before). The show or one of the show's I've heard that is meant to be included on it is the Oakland show from the Fair Warning tour.

After Eddie's mealt down I think it's a safe bet to say he'll go back to horring the Van Halen name, and using anything with Dave to make it sell (Unreleased Dave era, the songs from 2000, a live show). Whatever it takes to keep the beer money coming in.

I Just think its sad that the VH brothers can't accept the fact that the only chance of getting anyone to take a reunion serious would be to bring back the only real singer they have ever had: MR David Lee Roth. But Sammy seems predisposed to lubing up and

For the brothers (especially Alice) to bring back Dave full time they will have to admit to themselves that they need him. From Eddie trying to work with Dave in 96/2000/2002 it would seem that he has started to admitted it, but Alice on the other hand has taken it upon himself to run Dave down as often as possable. These interviews remind me of something my late brother Fredo once said to me;

I am afraid that unless Dave steps in and runs the release of any box set, that the present members of VH would be quite content to do as they always do and recycle the same stuff they have been peddling since Dave split.

Unless this so called "boxed set" contains a very large amout of Dave material and excluded pretty much everything else it would definately not be worth whatever eddie tried to get his Van Failin fans to cough up for it.
