vh-1's 40 Most Awesomely Bad Metal Songs

Van Halen III comes in at #22 for the song Without You, with Gary.

A couple of quotes from the show....

Your saying in the song "I can't do it without you" so how about calling Dave than?!

With Dave they were the party band with Sam they became a power balled band!

Dave is like coke he is the original
Sam is like pepsi he is the runner up or second best, something like that.
Gary is like RC. I guess meaning no one cares?!

I was kind of hoping they'd throw the entire Van Hagar catalog in there. It seems fitting to me.:p

"Without You" isn't even memorable enough to be on that list, in my opinion. It should only be songs that people remember.

I don't know if this qualifies as "metal" but I think "Love Hurts" by Nazareth ought to be on there. That song sucks!

Another guy during that part was saying ...

"they're talking about working it out ... why don't they work it out with Dave and do a REAL Van Halen song."

I hated the comment on that show, "Dave brought the mojo, and Sammy brought the sales" or something like that. Bullshit, Dave brought both, and a legacy that will live on forever.

And during another part(about another band), a couple of people complimented Dave's singing.

if it was not "sales" then it might have been "singles" ???

I caught about 20 minutes of it (the high 20's to mid 30's range) and there were a fair amount of complimentary Dave things said.

Number 1 was Europe's Final Countdown.
